1. About this cookie policy

   1. This policy ("Cookie Policy") explains which cookies our marketing website at bill.co.za sets, who sets them, why, and for how long. It applies to the marketing website only. The cookies and browser storage used by the web application at app.bill.co.za are described in our Privacy Policy.

   2. A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Some cookies are needed for the website to work. Others help us understand how the website is used, and we only set those if you agree.

   3. This Cookie Policy must be read together with our Privacy Policy. We may update it from time to time by publishing a revised version at https://bill.co.za/cookie-policy, which takes effect on the date of publication. If we add a new kind of cookie, we will ask for your consent again.

2. Your choice

   1. When you first visit, we show a banner that lets you accept all cookies, reject all optional cookies, or choose each category yourself. Until you choose, we set only essential cookies.

   2. We remember your choice for 12 months. You can change it at any time using the Cookie Settings link in our Trust Centre. Withdrawing consent stops the cookies concerned being set and deletes those already set on your device.

   3. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

3. Cookies we use

      Google learns which of our advertisements led to sign-up link clicks, and may later also learn which led to booking link clicks and enquiries. It uses that information under its own terms rather than on our behalf. We do not use it to build audiences or to show you advertisements: personalised advertising and Google signals are turned off in our Google accounts.

4. Analytics without cookies

   1. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits. It does not place cookies on your device, so it runs whatever you choose. Cloudflare receives your IP address when your browser loads a page, and processes it on our behalf only to count the visit and measure how quickly the page loads; it does not use it to track or identify you.

   2. We do not load Google Analytics until you accept analytics cookies, so Google receives no information about your visit before then, or at all if you reject them.
